A Patriarchal Blessing given by K. H. Brown upon the head of Elsie K. Christensen, daughter of Anders C. and Mette K. Christensen, born 9th of February1847 in Kjellerup, Thisted County, Denmark.

Sister Elsie, in the name of Jesus Christ, and through the power of the Holy Priesthood, I seal upon you a father's and a Patriarchal blessing which shall be a comfort and joy to you throughout time and bring you exaltation throughout eternity. If you will listen to your husband's advice and to the voice of the Holy Ghost, the Lord shall give you Holy visions at day and Holy dreams at night. Clothe you with power from on High, also you shall have wisdom to manage your house, be a comfort and a support to your husband, and a mother to your family. For as Sarah, you shall be known of the Lord and your seed blessed by Him. You shall have wisdom to do much good among your brothers, and sisters in Zion and the Lord shall bless you with faith and in the Holy House of the Lord you shall be anointed a Queen and Priestess to your husband by which the works of your hands shall be blessed. Your pantry shall always be full and your children never lack the good things of life. Your posterity shall be blessed by the Lord and shall be a star in your crown and a comfort in your old age. You were chosen in the Council of Heaven to come forth here on the earth in order to accomplish a great mission along with your husband and family. For your father's and mother's lineage, those who are how dead, are now in prison and wait to be freed by you and your family. You are of the House of Jacob and loins of Joseph and an heir to all the blessings and keys that belong to the New and Everlasting Covenant. Because of your obedience to the Gospel and faithfulness through out trials, you shall live and see, while still in the flesh, your children and grandchildren receive possessions in the Stakes of Zion and the Spirit of the Lord rest upon them. I seal you up to come forth together with your husband and his family, on the morning of the First Resurrection where you shall be included in a kingdom receiving honor, immortality, and the crown of Eternal Life in the celestial Kingdom of god.

These blessings I seal upon your head with the authority of a Patriarch and in the name of Jesus Christ, so let it be, Amen.
